Work Permit
Gives you permission to work in Canada, and may also require a Temporary Resident Visa. There are many paths to a work permit, some limited by location, employer or occupation, and others open for you to seek work freely. Many require a job offer from a Canadian employer or an approved Labour Market Impact Assessment. Programs such as Working Holiday and Student Work Abroad offer additional opportunities for youth. We commonly work with international students to build a long term plan for the transition from student, to worker, to permanent resident.
